Most transformations answer a question the business was not asking.
The day is designed for a CHRO who is about to commission something and suspects the scope does not match the problem. We spend the morning on the actual question the business is trying to answer, the afternoon on the scope that would serve it, and the final hour on the shape of a programme that would not become theatre.
The output is a single page — the question, the scope, the first three decisions — that the CHRO can take to the executive table. It is often enough to save six months and seven figures.
