The Playbook is a vendor-independent framework for interrogating the organisation as hard as the vendor. It walks through the selection as a process, not a feature matrix: the questions to ask before the RFP goes out, the reference-call script that actually tests for problems, the commercial terrain where the leverage sits, and the five traps the industry rarely names aloud.

It includes a scorecard structured around what survives the second year of live operation — not what looks best in a demo. It is opinionated where opinions matter and silent where they do not.
